Drum Majors

Christina Donall

Returning for her second year as Drum Major, Christina Donall is a Music Education major on clarinet with a minor in Mathematics. She is originally from Northfield, New Jersey where she was a member of the Mainland Regional High School Marching Band. This is her sixth year in the Towson University Marching Band. Christina has been in the mellophone section, a section leader, Student Director of Administration, and Drum Major for the TUMB throughout her time. At Towson, She has also participated in other ensembles and groups such as Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, the 2017 Towson University Winter Guard. Christina is also an active brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Service Fraternity. She is extremely happy to also spend her summer returning to the Cadets2 Drum and Bugle Corps as one of their Drum Majors. Christina looks forward to her last season with the TUMB!

Victoria Dorzey

Victoria is a sophomore accounting major here at TU and has completed one year of marching band playing mellophone. She has 4 years of high school marching band under her belt where she was a student leader, as well as Drum major. She has also participated in Pep Band and had the pleasure to travel to Charleston, SC this year. Victoria is an active sister and the Treasurer of Tau Beta Sigma, national honorary collegiate band sorority. Fun fact, she played in a steel drum ensemble in high school. She looks forward to another fantastic season with the TUMB and can’t wait for the season to start back up.

Bradley Stansbury

Bradley is a sophomore biology major at Towson University and has marched 1 year of clarinet here. At Dulaney High school, Bradley completed two years of clarinet marching before becoming Drum Major for the last two years. Bradley is also a sister and secretary of Tau Beta Sigma, National Honorary Band Sorority. He is a part of the Chi class which completed their process fall of 2017. In addition to marching band, Bradley also assists in a molecular biology research lab at Towson and is an avid snowboarder in the winter. Bradley is looking forward to an exciting and successful season for the TUMB!

Daniel Venable

Daniel is a junior music education major studying percussion, originally from Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he attend Hershey High School. This is his first season ever as drum major, and he’s excited to fulfill the role as best he can. He’s the current president of Towson’s Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia chapter. One fun fact about him is that he’s extraordinarily good at catching things that are falling off tables. He’s excited for the year to come, and can’t wait for the season.

Student Staff

Josh Bock

Josh will be returning to the TUMB for his 4th season this fall. The 2018 season will be his first as a Student Director. Previously, he marched two seasons as a Music SMAC leader for the low brass section and a lead trombone player. He is also Principal Trombone and Section Leader in the Towson University Symphonic Band, and is an active brother of Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity. Josh is a Music Education major at TU, and is excited to take on a greater role with teaching the TUMB, and can’t wait to see the amazing things the season has in store.
