Dear Prospective Member, 

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the 2026 “World Famous” Towson University Marching Band! Whether you are a seasoned performer, or are completely new to the activity, we look forward to welcoming a new class of members to the ensemble. The TUMB takes great pride in our uniquely artistic and entertaining style of performance, and we are proud to represent a diverse community of nearly every major offered at Towson University. As we plan a new season of rehearsals and performances, full of NEW and exciting things on the horizon, we cannot wait to welcome YOU to the 2026 TUMB!

The first step to securing your 2026 membership is completing a simple audition process. Please see the attached information packets below which outline specific information and instructions based on your performance area:

Following the completion of your audition:

  • Please look for the 2026 season commitment form. Prior to the season, we will publish the from to this website, and send it to all accepted auditionees via email. This is where you will indicate your commitment to joining the TUMB for the 2026 season.
  • When your respective enrollment is available, please enroll in MUSA160, Section 001 – Marching Band, which is a one credit course.
